Photographing glass is always a challenge, but with our level of expertise, the task becomes far more manageable. We were recently asked by Le Cordon Bleu to photograph a collection of glassware, and the results have really pleased us. We managed to really highlight the shapes of the products, avoiding unnecessary reflections and creating images which complement the shape of the glassware. Shooting the products filled with wine and water evokes a small sense of atmosphere, too, and brings a touch of character to truly set the images apart.
These creative decisions might appear elementary enough, but they indicate our ever-growing technical ability and experience, which allows us to work with increasing efficiency as well as skill.
And, of course, it isn't only glass that throws up challenges to product photographers such as ourselves. We're accustomed to working with a wide range of challenging materials. If you're looking for excellent creative product photography, you need look no further than The Packshot People.
